Your Light Electric Vehichle, or LEV, will reach it’s peak performance when used on smooth and flat terrain. The battery range will vary depending on the load weight, terrain, tire pressure, wind resistance and the number of stops. Using 1st gear when climbing steep hills will provide more torque to the back wheel while decreasing the draw on your batteries, while 2nd gear allows you to conserve battery power for extended distance. 3rd gear is full speed and just FUN! One of the disadvantages of having a single speed bike is that climbing a hill of any size will drain the battery quickly.

When your batteries are new they will not perform to their maximum potential. They will take on average 24 charges before the battery is conditioned well enough to achieve the longest range possible.

The performance and life span of your batteries is solely dependent on how you maintain them. Follow the link to these tips on how to maximize your batteries’ full potential.

Price $2299+tax

The Motorino XPn, launched in 2010, is the second newest addition to our range of electric scooters. Its vintage body styling and robust motorcycle chassis are both supplied by Yamaha – China; offering a solid, stable and comfortable ride. Its powerful headlight, large gauges and chrome trim create a vintage aesthetic reminiscent of the 2010 Yamaha Vino. Unlike its Yamaha counterpart its longer wheelbase and ergonomic seat can carry two riders, even up hills; and is well proportioned for taller and shorter riders. While Yamaha Vino has only front disk brake, the Motorino XPn sports hydraulic disc brakes on both wheels and is equipped with an Antilock Braking System (ABS). Like all other Motorino XP models the XPn is powered by our unique CCT driving system; a marked improvement over standard 500W brushless drives which has won our XP line fame and critical acclaim with two years of unparalleled performance and reliability. The CCT system provides all the starting and climbing torque of gas scooters, with zero emissions and all the advantages of bicycle classification (no license, no insurance, free parking). For those with a particularly long commute, the range can be extended to 90km with the installation of additional batteries in the underseat cargo compartment. The regenerative brakes efficiently recover braking force, converting the bike’s inertia into electricity which is returned to the battery. The XPn is available in sharp black, light blue, solid white and fire engine red.

Price $2299+tax

Building on the success and popularity of our XPv we have introduced the MOTORINO™ XPr; the second MOTORINO to feature an elegant vintage aesthetic. It is bigger than the XPv and it is designed to comfortably accommodate a rider and passenger. It has the same CCT driving system as all XP models; a drive system which has proved itself to be very powerful, efficient and reliable. Thanks to this unique CCT controller and its powerful brushless motor, Motorino riders can effortlessly ride their bikes up the steepest grades without draining their battery as drastically as with a regular driving system. You can travel 90kms, on average, with a dual battery pack without sacrificing torque or speed. The regenerative brakes efficiently recover braking force, converting the bike’s inertia into electricity which is returned to the battery. When immediate stopping power is needed simply engage the brake handles to activate the powerful, self-adjustable hydraulic disc brakes found on the front and rear wheels. Both are equipped with ABS (Antilock Braking System) seen only on high grade motorcycles. This model, which has already enjoyed global popularity as a 150CC motorcycle now enters into a new age of practicality as a power-assisted bicycle. Incorporating years worth of engineering improvements in Greenwit Technologies’ CCT driving system the XPr combines the power and presence of a motorbike with the practicality and affordability of a power-assisted bicycle.

MOTORINO™ XPh is the largest of our XP scooters. A longer wheelbase and extended knee-room make this bike popular with the taller crowd.

As with all of the XP Motorinos, the motor and controller of the XPh are designed by Greenwit Technologies. They provide superior torque; outperforming the geared motors we introduced in 2008 and blowing away regular brushless motors of the same wattage. The bike can be switched between the three driving modes – economy, high torque and high speed- thanks to the CCT driving system. This system maintains lower constant current consumption between the high torque/high speed transitions and allows the rider to maintain higher speed even on hills. The superior motor efficiency of the CCT system allows the rider to travel up to 90kms when equipped with a second battery pack.
